Here i am sitting in front of my computer blogging at 3 in the morning. I have lecture classes tomorrow but i am still unsure whether i should attend those classes or not. I just finished listening to an episode of the Penang Hokkien Podcast and i am still not feeling sleepy although it’s already very late, or should i said ‘early’. Anyway, i just have to struggle for several more months before i can head back to my beloved country, Malaysia. Being in UK is definitely a good experience but i have no intention of staying here for the rest of my life…i wanna go back to the place where i belong. Living in a foreign land doesn’t make me feel at home…i’m just not comfortable living in this dreaded place. However, i did planned to work here for a few months after my graduation before going back to Malaysia for good…i mean the pay here is actually quite good compared to in Malaysia. But it is not so easy to look for a job here since we are not Westerners…no matter where we go, there will always be people who are racist. Even i consider myself to be racist at times especially towards Indians but that’s not always the case. I have a few Indian friends who are good to me but sometimes i just don’t understand them. They could be so nice to you at this moment and then, out of a sudden, they could even betray & backstab you without you knowing about it. So, my only piece of advice is to choose your friends wisely…take time to evaluate them and don’t jump to conclusion without having enough evidence that they are suitable to be your friend.
